What is Financial Therapy?

Financial therapy combines financial planning with emotional and psychological support to address the root causes of financial behaviors. It focuses on improving overall well-being by healing the shame and guilt associated with financial issues.

Benefits of Financial Therapy

Financial therapy helps individuals gain control over their financial lives, improves relationships, and cultivates a healthy relationship with money.

The Financial Therapy Process

The process involves exploring emotional and psychological aspects of money management, leading to emotional healing and behavioral change.

  • Initial Consultation: The journey begins with a 15-minute free consultation. This allows clients to discuss their financial concerns and goals with a financial therapist. After your consultation you can choose between individual or group sessions.

INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL THERAPY

  1. In-Depth Evaluation: A 60-minute initial evaluation follows, during which the therapist gains a deeper understanding of the client's financial and emotional landscape. This session costs $200.
  2. Clients can then engage in ongoing 55-minute sessions priced at $175 each. These sessions focus on exploring the emotional and psychological aspects of money management, leading to emotional healing, and behavioral change.

GROUP FINANCIAL THERAPY

  1. For those who prefer a group setting, we offer 6-week small group sessions. These sessions provide a supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from others. After completing the group sessions, clients can transition into individual 55-minute sessions. Group sessions cost $50.

Sessions and Support

We offer individual and group sessions to help clients address their financial challenges in a supportive environment. During these sessions, clients work closely with a financial therapist to explore their financial anxieties, traumas, and aspirations, helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their financial behaviors and the emotional triggers behind them.
